Stardate:2406.10.06 (USS Nimitz - Bridge - TAC/SC Ensign Kateb - 1130) Onyx was watching the events on her monitors. Plans in her head were forming has she ready the weapons. Captain Sash talked briefly with the First Officer and then his attention turn toward battle tactics. "Mr Asoru, prepare to go to warp. I want warp 1 forward, then I want an immediate reversal at full warp for five seconds then a full stop. This should give us the illusion of being in two places at one time. Almost a reverse "Picard Maneuver." At both points of full stop Onyx I want a spread of torpedoes." ~Nice, he nearly thought what I was thinking, the perfect spot to do this maneuver.~ "I'm ready Captain, weapons are hot." Has everything went, it seem to go in slow motion, at the exception of the warhead. Did it succeed? They would know until the cloud of debris would vanish. The Trawler was intact, the shields held. "Captain, the Alamo's shields are going down." All Sash could do is watch, as it became apparent that the Nimitz was not doing anything else. Onyx analysed the data. "The Alamo received to much damages... it will blow Captain Sash." A tinny voice that Harrison knew as Chief Engineer Zzt. "Zzt not know. Zzt can't see. Lights out. Dark down here." "Okay," he replied, "Let us know when you do know what's going on." He searched the OPS station for something he could do to assist, but couldn't see anything. The results of a level 5 diagonstics appeared on the screen, but all he could decipher from the techno babble was that the Nimitz was severely damaged. Life support was the only thing at 100% efficiency. With his eyes clamped shut, Zzt could hear the ship groaning and screaming in protest as the Captain put the ship through maneuvers it was never meant to preform. The super charged structural integrity field was the only thing that held the ship together, but after only a few moments Zzt could hear and feel as power relays began to blow in a spray of sparks and fire works. The screams of less fortunate crew members. who hadn't found as secure a perch as him, where flung too and fro by the bucking star ship. After what seemed like hours, the ships stabilized under his paws. Slowly Zzt opened his eyes to look around main engineering. He blinked, as darkness met his gaze. ~I'm blind?~ He blinked again and slowly released his death grip on the MSD console. He could feel with his paws that his embrace had damaged the console considerably. Zzt looked around and could see small glints of light off in the distance and from the now shattered MSD console. "Emergency power!" Zzt yelled, hopping someone else was still conscious to hear him. "Get lights on!" =/\=Bridge to Engineering,=/\= Harrison called, suddenly =/\=How's it looking down there?=/\ Zzt sighed. ~At least something still works.~ he thought as he slapped his comm-badge. Zzt forgot night light." (Reply Sash IYW) After a couple more seconds, Zzt managed to get the emergency lights on and looked around the disaster that was now main engineering. Zzt whimpered softly as he looked at the MSD console. "Zzt broke MSD console," He said, his voice sounding like a small child who had just broke a favorite toy. (Reply Sash) Zzt kicked some more debris aside as he moved between consoles. He could hear some more engineering slowly picking themselves out of the debris and moving back to their stations. "Ship on emergency power. Warp drive off line," Zzt said into the still open comm-channle to the bridge. He moved over to another console and frowned. "76% power relays on ship fried. SIF system operating at 23% capacity. We not go warp even if warp drive was on line. Ship would fall a part. Shields and weapons off line. Short. We dead in space till Zzt get some repair done. For all intensive purposes neither was he. He would have been more content to be sitting on earth or at least away from all of this. However this was the hand that fate had dealt him. The Captain was asking the obvious question consisting of who was Edward and more importantly what he was doing on the bridge and contacting the Nimitz. Edward considered his words carefully, now was not the time to make an incident by a misinterpreted word. “Captain Sash, Im Lt.Cmdr Edward Gideon. Scanning and giving medical aid to the bridge crew put Janet back in her first alert mode. Janet finished tending to the tactical officer when the bridge viewscreen went from the void of space to the bridge of the trawler Archimedes. Captain Sash appeared to be stressed from the battle, but was more concerned on why he was talking to an unknown Lt. Commander instead of Commander Troi. Janet could not help but to easedropped on the conversation. To her, she wanted to see if her boss; her 'close' friend, BigWill Kinkaid, was alright. It would calm her shaky nerves to know his well being. Janet noticed at the corner of the viewscreen, as the Lt. Commander on the trawler moved, an officer in Starfleet medical blue manning what she knew to be the OPS station. Janet walked a bit closer to the CONN station to get a better view and to her joy it was her boss, Lt. BigWill Kinkaid. A few tears of happiness trickled down Janet's cheeks along with a sniffle. Her heart was beating at a high rapid due to the anxiety of not knowing for some time if he was injured or worst. She wanted to jump in the conversation the Captain was having, but the situation did not call for it. It was good to know BigWill was fine and alive. Janet stood by watching her boss with love in her eyes glistening towards the viewscreen hoping to see if he would sense her from afar. (Reply Anyone) (Posted by Nathan M. Commander Gideon. She knew also that everyone of the nimitz felt that the loss of the crew of the Alamo was a huge waste of good people. It was in everyone's mind that Doenitz had to be brought down so the Federation could be once again reunited. She had listened to what Saleke and Gideon said to one another and knew it was of little use, but, it was a nice jesture. She had to leave the bridge, so, she made the excuse of checking on the rest of the ship. She left with Tagon in tow after turning the bridge over to Saleke. After checking on a lot of sections, she heard Tagon receive a call on his combadge. She wondered if it was important, why they had not gotten a hold of her. Since they hadn't, she figured that it was nothing important and was going to continue her inspection. "Commander, I have been called back to the bridge and I must insist that you come along." Tagon said after the conversation "Lt. as they contacted you instead of me, I do not think it that important for me to stop my inspection." Kestra said with a slight chuckle. "I understand that you need to ensure that I am taken care of, but, I will continue my inspection of the ship and my people. You head up and I will be there when I can." She said and was about to leave when Tagon spoke once again. It appeared he was not satisfied with her answer. "You realize that I feel well within my rights to pick you up and carry you back to the bridge if I need to." He smiled as he said that and she wondered if he would do that just to anger her or if he was kidding. "Lieutenant, I said head up and I will be up when I can." She told him once again. "Very well, I will give you five minutes. If I do not see you in that time then I will declare martial law and come bring you back." He replied and then left. Kestra looked at Tagon's back as he had not waited for her response and she knew he would most likely make good on that promise or threat. She turned and continued her inspection. As Kestra entered the bridge, she heard the tail end of the conversation that was going on. "I will try captain" She heard Tagon inform Sash, who she saw was on the view screen. Having a strange officer that was previously from a hostile vessel asking on your status would make him nervous. As Edward skulked at the back of the bridge he watched the first officer of the Nimitz converse with her CO. The conversation was a simple check of the operational status of both ships. He had been looking at the read outs of the trawler and in all realism things were not as bad comparatively speaking to the Nimitz.   The Nimitz from the images on the view screen was heavily damaged and being held together by good will and a lot of hope. The faces of the officers on the bridge were showing great emotion for the well being of their ship it was understandable. They all had friends on the ship that would be waiting for them, Edward proberly had the brig. Although he had comforted himself with the idea that the Nimitz would have to make it back to Geneva for repairs and that was going to be hard enough. The doctor standing on the bridge was obviously emotional at the moment Edward attempted to follow his eyes to the view screen and locate whom he was looking at. Seeing the young blonde medical crew Edward grinned to himself.  The doctor was obviously in the mist of great emotional feeling for the other officer whom appeared to be junior to him. Edward reached inside his tunic and removed his lucky handkerchief. Moving closer to the doctor Edward spoke in a hushed tone.   “Dear Doctor, not advisable to cry at this time you might start the entire crews off,” Edward stated letting loose a warm smile; Edward pushed the handkerchief along the doctors panel.   (Reply Kinkaid)   “She seems a nice lady,” Edward stated resisting his temptation to grin wider. “She obviously has more than a professional interest from her eyes.
